We have extensive experience creating signage for small and large-scale events across Australia. No signage is too difficult for us to create and we were thrilled to print banner mesh, vinyl banner, corflute signage, crowd control barrier covers, and stage signage for the Rockhampton River Festival 2018. Find out how this event signage came together below.

About the Rockhampton River Festival

The Rockhampton River Festival is an annual event operated by the Rockhampton Regional Council. Launched in 2014, this event runs over three days and brings everyone together along the riverbank to enjoy live music, art, food and entertainment. Rockhampton Regional Council were looking to promote their rebranding and due to there being so many elements to this event, we knew that there was going to be a range of signage required in order to make an impact.

Creating event signage

We printed signage in just about every form we offer. From corflute and crowd control barrier covers, to stage signage, we had to ensure that the signage was printed in immaculate quality. Our biggest task was creating signage for a stack of shipping containers without drilling into the container itself. We weighed up all our options for container signage, including banner mesh and vinyl, and realised that vinyl would enable us to use keder and sail track for a seamless and protected finish. The shipping container wraps were cleverly used as maps for the event and the vinyl meant that the maps were incredibly durable and printed in the highest quality – perfect for seeing a mile away!

We also created ‘toblerone’ corflute signage to print event information on to poles. This enabled any event goer to find information conveniently near them.

For the stage signage, we used our premium banner mesh to ensure a high print quality and versatility for the different areas of the stage that had to be covered. The premium banner mesh is also UV protected so that weather is of no concern for the event branding.

The event went off without a hitch, with 100,000 people attending the festival. The rebranding looked perfect and the signage looked great!
