Ultima Building Group is an established luxury home construction company in New South Wales, with myriad beautiful projects under their belt. Collaborating with them on their November 2018 development was a privilege, and Mesh Direct gladly rose to the challenge of exceeding their expectations for construction site banner mesh and hoarding.

banner mesh

The Challenge

Banner mesh is the ideal substrate for construction site hoarding, thanks to its impressive durability and exceptional print surface. However, rolls of banner mesh can be impractical for use on active building sites, where fences need to be shuffled around and moved regularly, and workers are always in and out. The more cumbersome rolls have to be cut on-site into appropriately sized sections and are tricky to install durably. They can become easily damaged, causing even a high-quality design to lose its impact and effectivity. A neater, more practical solution was required!

The Product

Mesh Direct’s experts opted to use premium 270gsm banner mesh, but instead of providing Ultima Building Group with a single roll, we printed individual panels! Equipped with seat belt edging and metal eyelets, the panels are light, effortless to install and easy to store for future use. Once installed, these panels can be moved with the fence, preventing them from becoming damaged in the organised chaos of building sites, and they have exceptional longevity (2-3 years!).

The Result

Mesh Direct’s in-house design team collaborated closely with Ultima to create impactful and inviting hoarding, building optimism and excitement about the stunning luxury homes under construction. High-resolution images, vibrant colours and creative problem-solving resulted in effective and durable construction site signage.
