Down Under, we are quite lucky to already be seeing events and larger gatherings starting to return as restrictions begin to ease.  2020 was a year that will not soon be forgotten due to the lack of events and gatherings taking place. So heading into 2021 we can only hope things continue to improve and that events thrive! One thing to keep in mind with events returning is the importance of signage – signage, after all, is an integral part of the attendee experience. Here we will go through 5 must-have signs for your next event.

Crowd Control Barrier Signs:

Crowd Control Barrier or CCB’s serve an important function whilst also providing fantastic branding opportunities. These signs do an excellent job to provide order and control at your event – especially as people are lining up. CCB’s also restrict the movement of spectators, delineate out of bounds areas and organise the directions of foot traffic. They can also be important in assisting the overall theme of the event too, by keeping the signs within the colour scheme it helps to create the event’s atmosphere as well as promoting sponsors and your overall brand image. There is simply no understating the importance of Crowd Control Barrier Signs at your next event.

A-Frame Boards:

A-frame boards are cost-effective, effortless to set up and are easily transported to your desired location. The ease of use of A-frame boards certainly makes them a great choice for events and large gatherings. Place your boards around high foot traffic areas for them to be most noticeable. For events they can be best used for helping with directions around the venue, making it easier for the attendees to find certain locations such as the bathroom, or main stage. An event wouldn’t be complete without a few A-frame boards seen around the place.

Event backdrops are an effective marketing tool which can enhance your event theme and promote brands with ease. You’ll often find these backdrops at promotional events, premiers and festivals. They are a great way to expose your brand and could indeed be a nice addition to your next event for people to take photographs of themselves in front of. Not all events utilise such signage, but for those that do, they are extremely effective. So why not give a backdrop a try, the success of it may surprise you.

Safety Signage:

Ensuring your event is safe, secure & compliant, it is essential to have safety signs. Signage, such as: social distancing, exit signs, wash hands regularly and wear a mask (if applicable) are all relevant and important for upcoming events. Such signs can be placed on large banners, A-frames, windows or even on the floor – as long as the reminder is consistent and not confusing for your attendees.
