Vivid Festival 2019

We were happy to supply Vivid Festival, Sydney with custom printed event signage for another year. Carry on reading to find out more about this project.

Project Background

It’s likely whether you have attended the festival or not, you have heard of Vivid Sydney. A stunning three weeks of the year, where light sculptures, art and music transforms the city. It’s enjoyed by millions who flock to the city to enjoy the spectacle. And of course, no event would be possible without the correct event signage. Whether it be crowd control barriers, signs or banners. Vivid Sydney required high-quality signage around the area of the city, to direct crowds, promote the event and wow everyone.

The Solution

Mesh Direct worked with the event organisers, Destination NSW for another year to achieve their requirements. Having worked with them in the past, we knew what they expected when it came to quality.

Given our previous experience, we knew that our polyester mesh (polymesh) would be the best signage solution for the event. Again, a material which has been used around the event for previous years. Polymesh is made from 120gsm polyester and allows air flow through the mesh. This makes it a great solution for outdoor events and is also a great material for quality printing.

The Result

The end result was vibrant signage which complemented the event perfectly. High quality printing and seamless installation. It drew attention to the event during the day and blended into the lights during the night. Our client, Destination NSW were happy for yet another year with the results.
