One of the biggest events that puts on a spectacular showcase for Sydney every year is the Vivid Festival. Continuing to go above and beyond with lights and events, Destination NSW approached us to create custom printed fencing advertising signage for the event and having worked with them in the past, we know what they expect when it comes to product and quality.

Destination NSW are leaders when it comes to marketing Sydney and NSW as one of the world’s premier tourism and events destinations. We knew we would be a great fit for this project with Destination NSW due to our extensive experience with event signage and our renowned reputation for creating stellar signage solutions across Australia. Destination NSW created a stunning artwork for their signage and we were tasked with deciding the best signage solution for the event and that would make their artwork truly eye-catching.

Polymesh and premium banner mesh for Vivid

We immediately knew that our polymesh and premium pvc banner mesh would be the best fit. Polymesh is made from 120gsm polyester and has perforations to allow for air flow through the mesh. Our premium pvc banner mesh has a high print reproduction and is more durable than our polymesh signage. Both signage options are great for event signage and for this particular project with Destination NSW, we wanted maximum ink coverage to showcase every intricate detail of the artwork. Both substrates are great for outdoor use, and to ensure that the eyelets would not pop on the polymesh for the duration of the Vivid Festival, we used extra toughened hemming in the edging.

Vivid Event Banners

For the size and scope of this event, we needed to ensure that the production and installation of our signage would be as seamless as possible. We ensured that the print reproduction was outstanding for the signage and that we printed the required quantity for Destination NSW. Our team also oversaw the installation of the signage at the Vivid Festival to ensure that this met the expectations of our client and that the process was efficient for the installation team.

The end result was an amazing installation and vibrantly printed signage that complemented the lights of the Vivid Festival perfectly. Destination NSW were happy with the result and more than 3,200 banners were installed seamlessly for this event. Attendance was expected to be better than the record 2017 turnout of 2.33 million people and we were thrilled to print signage for the Vivid Festival.
