Mesh Direct was commissioned by Hickory, a prominent construction company known for providing full-lifecycle property solutions, to handle the Hoarding Signage and Jump Form Signage for a hotel development in Sydney’s bustling Chinatown. Having partnered with Hickory on previous projects, we were excited to bring our expertise to this complex and high-profile site.
The project posed several significant challenges, primarily due to its location in the heart of Chinatown, one of Sydney’s busiest areas. The site’s high foot traffic made accessing the hoarding from the street difficult, complicating the installation process. The site’s tight space and busy surroundings posed a considerable challenge for accessing the area with a crane necessary for the installation of the jump form signage.
To tackle these challenges, Mesh Direct employed a strategic approach. We used Vinyl with Kedar Edging and Sail Track to ensure the hoardings were securely fastened and visually appealing. Given the size of the hoardings, which were particularly large for this type of project, we used a boom lift to efficiently install the Vinyl Banners. Our expert installation team worked with precision in the confined space, ensuring all signage was installed flawlessly despite the challenges of the site.
The results were outstanding. The colours chosen by Hickory for their artwork, combined with their corporate branding, stood out beautifully, enhancing the overall appearance of the site. As the hotel development progressed and the jump form signage grew in height, it became increasingly visible from various parts of the city, further boosting Hickory’s presence in the area. The client was extremely pleased with the outcome, praising the quality of the work and the impact of the signage. This project once again demonstrated Mesh Direct’s ability to deliver exceptional results, even in the most challenging environments.
