The opportunities for outdoor advertising are almost endless. From billboards to banners, vehicle wraps to building wraps and tear-drop flags to A-Frames, promoting your brand at development sites or public events has never been easier. The world is your advertising oyster!

When it comes to balancing out marketing budgets with exposure and returns, you could do a lot worse than printed shade cloth. Also known as scrim, this substrate has been a staple of the outdoor advertising industry for many years, and it promises to carry on being the go-to material for practical, budget-friendly and versatile brand promotion for many more to come.

Made from knitted monofilament polythene, it’s the ideal substrate for your outdoor branding. Often used on construction sites, including scaffold wraps, it’s also perfect for large-scale events like festivals and concerts. Here are just a few reasons printed shade cloth is your best friend when it comes to advertising in the great outdoors!

Longevity for your Logo

Printed shade cloth is an amazingly durable product. The substrate and inks are both UV stabilised, so they’ll stay vibrant and bright no matter how much sun or damage they’re exposed to. Additionally, scrim has only a 2-3% stretch factor, guaranteeing minimal sagging and deformation over time.

Moreover, shade cloth is printed digitally. This process guarantees that you can perfect your design in detail, all the while resting assured the final product will be an accurate and faithful representation of your initial scheme. Your logo will look great for over twelve months, even while being buffeted by the elements!

Clearing the Air

In order to minimise the load placed on structures and keep construction sites airy and breezy (and therefore, livable), shade cloth allows significant air-flow – 30%, to be exact! This promotes ventilation and reduces the burden that buildings are exposed to in windy weather, maximising staff and building safety.

Keeping it Clean

While it lets air through, scrim keeps dust and larger debris off of your site. Your development project or event will remain cleaner and safer for staff and patrons alike while being easier to maintain and tidy up.

Sun-scrim

Importantly for both staff and visitors, printed shade cloth blocks out 70% of the sun’s rays, keeping everyone safer and fresher. Extra shade never goes amiss in the hot Australian sun!

Versatility

Our printed shade cloth comes in 50m rolls, meaning you can use it wherever you need it: wrapped around a scaffold or secured to a fence; tied on a crowd-control banner or draped overhead – the options are endless!

Bonus

Don’t forget, while it’s doing all of this, printed shade cloth is also increasing your brand exposure and catching the eye of potential clients! It’s an aesthetically effective and highly practical marketing solution for your outdoor needs, and perhaps most importantly, it won’t break the bank.
