RM Watson are a trusted and long-standing fixture of New South Wale’s urban landscape. Specialising in remedial solutions for existing structures, they’ve been transforming our cityscapes for over 60 years. This time, they’ve been tasked with facade and balcony repairs at 220 Goulburn Street, where they’ll be fixing windowsill flashings and preparing formwork for balcony hobs and cavity works. Having collaborated with them before, the team at Mesh Direct was delighted when they called us in to spruce up three blocks of A-Class vinyl hoarding at the site. Nestled in an otherwise fairly dreary alleyway, we came together to create eye-catching and functional design solutions for their hoarding, and the results are stunning!

Vinyl Hoarding

The Challenge

RM Watson needed banners for their three large blocks of A-Class hoarding, but, amongst other things, changes in the hoarding itself required our designers and installers to demonstrate flexibility and the ability to think on their feet to get the job done. As well as this, COVID-19 and lockdown threw a spanner in the works, delaying installation and requiring some logistical magic-making. However, with a great team and a strong spirit of collaboration, we pulled through!

The Product

For maximum impact, we chose to use our Solid PVC Vinyl for this hoarding. PVC Vinyl provides the highest image quality, and it’s extremely resistant to the vagueries of the weather. With durable and eye-catching quality, we knew the gorgeous artwork we featured on the banners would stand out for the duration of the project, and beyond!

The Result

The results speak for themselves: an otherwise average alleyway has become a unique setting filled with character, while 220 Goulburn Street gets a facelift. The client is overjoyed, and the team at Mesh Direct is so proud of what we’ve achieved despite a global pandemic. Bring on the next project!
